Rest breaks
We do not expect assessors to work for extended periods without a break. For permanent staff, they should take a break of at least 30 minutes after having worked no more than five consecutive hours, and we apply this requirement to have a break to casuals as part of our duty of care. Unpaid breaks are to be recorded on timesheets.
