Person-centred care

Overview

This one-day workshop demystifies person-centred care and provides an overview of the current thinking about person-centred care.

In just one day of your time, you will come away with a practical action plan and you will receive internationally-recognised practical tools to implement person-centred care in your home. Person-centred care does involve change and this one-day workshop will provide you with the tools to implement and monitor the changes so they are measurable and sustainable.

This workshop focuses on one model of person-centred care that describes how the care environment influences and supports working positively with life-long values and beliefs of residents. This has been developed by Dementia Studies Training Unit experts in Victoria and NSW.
