The seminar will provide participants with an understanding of:
- the purpose, focus and process of support contacts
- the essential roles of key people in the assessment process
- how assessment modules are applied and may assist you with monitoring and analysing performance
- the relationship between promoting high quality care and demonstrating compliance with the Accreditation Standards.
The seminar will help participants to:
- identify how to effectively plan and prepare for announced support contact and prepare for an unannounced support contacts
- prepare, educate and support staff for support contacts
- effectively work with aged care quality assessors during support contacts
- demonstrate compliance with the Accreditation Standards.
Ideal for:
- senior managers / group manager / site managers
- directors of nursing / directors of care / village managers
- quality managers / coordinators
- registered nurses.
Cost:
The cost to participants is $270 inc GST (includes seminar materials, meals and refreshments).
Five per cent discount applies to group registration of five or more.
Duration and period
The seminar is one day in duration from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Registration commences at 8.30am.
Seminars will be held until June 2011.

Subject to minimum numbers being reached, a confirmaiton letter including all venue information will be emailed or posted to registered participants by two weeks prior to the seminar dates to confirm the seminar is proceeding.
