Better Practice underpins our commitment to promoting high quality care and topics include underpinning philosophies of care, decision-making for end of life care and palliative care, improving mental health in residents, innovative approaches to dementia and improving the physical health of residents.
This year we are also continuing to promote evidence-based practice. The conference will feature speakers who have been involved in Encouraging Better Practice in Aged Care (EBPAC) projects who can share their experience of implementing best practice guidelines.

The Duxton Hotel Perth is bordered by St Georges Terrace, Perth city's CBD thoroughfare, the Perth Concert Hall, and to the south the Swan River. A few minutes walk away is Perth's major shopping, entertainment and restaurant centre.
Special accommodation rates have been negotiated for delegates at the Duxton Hotel. The standard room rate is $289.00 per room per night including a full buffet breakfast for one guest in the hotel restaurant.

Valet parking is available at the Duxton Hotel at a rate of $35.00 per car, per day or self-parking is available at Perth’s Concert Hall (next door) at a rate of $2.30 per hour or a daily rate from $16.30.

Registration for the conference will be available in the Ballroom Foyer from 8am each day.
Each person must be separately registered for one or both days, no shared registrations are permitted.
