Better Practice Melbourne will be held on 10 and 11 September 2009.

There are four main themes addressed in the plenary sessions:
- Improving resident care and lifestyle through person-centred care
- Investing to improve quality and control costs
- Improving performance through monitoring and key indicators
- Improving the organisation through effective leadership.
Workshop on person-centred care
- This interactive and practical three hour workshop on person-centred care will unpack the term ‘person-centred care’ by contextualizing the theory into practical application. It will help you develop a logical and dynamic case for introducing person-centred care to key stakeholders in your organisation.

The Sebel and Citigate Albert Park is centrally located overlooking Albert Park Lake. Only minutes form Melbourne Central Business District with easy access to all areas of Melbourne, particularly sporting and recreational facilities.
Accommodation
Special accommodation rates have been negotiated for delegates at The Sebel and Citigate Albert Park. The standard room rate is $180.00 per room per night including breakfast for one guest in the hotel restaurant. Parking
Parking is located beneath the venue (accessible via Lorne Street) at a flat rate of $14.00 per vehicle per exit. Off-street parking may also be available in the streets surrounding the venue.

Meals
The events organisers recognise that some delegates may have special dietary needs. Please advise either via the registration form or in writing if you would like us to make alternative arrangements on your behalf.
