Better Practice Adelaide

Get ready for Better Practice in July with an outstanding blend of relevant topics, industry experts and keynote speakers who will bring you practical advice on improving quality care for your residents.

Keep up with industry trends as we bring this annual two-day conference to the Adelaide Hilton so you can interact with speakers and debate topics that challenge thinking and provide practical information about better practice ideas.

The conference brochure is now available to make your online bookings.

This Better Practice conference includes high profile presenters such as Ita Buttrose AO, OBE and professional chef Simon Bryant; leading academics Professor Rhonda Nay, Associate Professor Rosalie Hudson and Dr Deirdre Fetherstonhaugh; and industry leaders including Masonic Homes CEO Doug Strain, and Eldercare Inc’s CEO Klaus Zimmermann.

This is what others say about Better Practice: “Looking forward to the conference. They have always been rich in information and we always come away with good ideas for our facility.”

We hope you can join over 200 of your peers with a good range of presenters who have a lot to offer so this is your opportunity to share and learn from each other.

You’ll also enjoy the social and networking aspects of Better Practice conferences.

Better Practice underpins our commitment to promoting high quality care and topics include underpinning philosophies of care, decision-making for end of life care and palliative care, improving mental health in residents, innovative approaches to dementia and improving the physical health of residents.

This year we are also continuing to promote evidence-based practice. The conference will feature speakers who have been involved in Encouraging Best Practice in Aged Care (EBPAC) projects who can share their experience of implementing best practice guidelines.

Discounted early bird rates are available for all delegates who register and pay by Friday, 15 July 2011.  Group discounts are available for five or more delegates with the same registration type.  Call  1800 728 589 for group bookings.
