We want speakers for 2011 Better Practice
This is your opportunity to contribute to improving practice across the industry and be part of an event that has given more than 9,000 attendees the ideas and encouragement to raise the bar in their own homes is now here. Our evaluation results tell us that what delegates most like about Better Practice conferences is hearing about examples of how others have achieved better practice.
This is your opportunity to promote your program and promote your home.
Better Practice events to be held in Adelaide, Launceston, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. Submissions are welcomed from all who feel they have a better practice example that will enhance the lives of older Australians living in residential aged care.

Papers are invited on any of the topics listed below. To be considered for inclusion, the submission must address the selection criteria in relation to any of the specific topics below.

What are the selection criteria for 2011 Better Practice submissions?
To be considered for inclusion, submissions must address the selection criteria:
- Demonstrates person-centred care
- Innovative and creative
- Outcomes are substantiated with evidence of results
- Applicable to a variety of aged care settings
- Outlines key steps to implementation including key success factors and overcoming challenges
- Engages the audience
Submissions are simple to complete by answering key questions. The aim of the conference is for delegates to hear presentations from practitioners and be able to adopt or adapt the concept to their own organisation. Therefore papers promoting the purchase of commercial products or services are unlikely to be considered.
