The focus is on exploring risk management principles and approaches, together with practical industry examples to assist providers with risk identification, analysis, management and planning.

The seminar will provide participants with an understanding of:

  • the key risk indicators that are often associated with non-compliant homes and how they can be managed
  • the top ten non-compliant expected outcomes the reasons for non-compliance and how these can be avoided
  • structures and processes to assist participants develop an integrated approach to identifying risks that may impact resident care
  • skills for prioritising risks and strategies for controlling risks
  • tools for developing, implementing and monitoring risk.

Cost
The cost to participants is $270 inc GST (includes seminar materials, meals and refreshments).
5% discount applies to group registrations of five or more.

Duration and period
The seminar is one day in duration from 9.00am to 5.00pm. Registration commences at 8.30am. Seminars will be held from November 2010 through to June 2011.
