This interactive one-day seminar aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to implement a planned organisational approach to evidence-based practice that will result in measurable improvements for residents, staff and the organisation as a whole.

The seminar will provide participants with:
- evidence-based practice
- best available evidence and how to find it
- clinical guidelines and how they are developed
- critical appraisal of clinical guidelines
- application, contextualisation and implementation of clinical guidelines
- clinical audit
- how a clinical audit can measure current practice and then be used as a tool to improve practice

- appraise clinical practice guidelines
- contextualise and implement a clinical practice guideline
- critical appraisal of clinical guideline

- develop strategies for practice improvement

Cost
The cost to participants is $270 inc GST (includes seminar materials, meals and refreshments).
5% discount applies to group registrations of five or more.
Duration and period
The seminar is one day in duration from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Registration commences at 8.30am.
