The Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Ltd is a member of the International Society for Quality in health care (ISQua).
The CEO is an elected member of the ISQua International Accreditation Federation Council
In 2008 we gained ISQua certification for our assessor training program and our management systems.
"The Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency is congratulated on being the first external evaluation body to have its assessor training program assessed for ISQua accreditation." - ISQua Board.
In 2009 our company has accreditation by ISQua for the period October 2009 through to September 2013.
International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua) International Conference
Effective leadership in quality and safety in health care means having access to the most recent information and best practice experience.
ISQua’s 27th International Conference will be held in Paris, France from 10th – 13th October 2010.

ISQua's International Conferences provide a stimulating 'must attend' annual forum with exchange of information and updates on practice and policy development. Delegates include national health policy leaders and decision-makers, researchers, healthcare professionals in all disciplines, administrators, clinical organisations, standards and accreditation organisations, healthcare networks, providers and consumer organisations.
Each year the conference is held in a different city in the world in association with governments and other keyorganisations. In the past ten or so years, ISQua international conferences have been held in: 2001 Buenos Aires, 2002 Paris, 2003 Dallas, 2004 Amsterdam, 2005 Vancouver, 2006 London, 2007 Boston, 2008 Copenhagen and Dublin in 2009.

At the 2009 Dublin conference we showcased two topics about our internal continous improvement processes to quality.

Copenhagen 2008
At the 2008 Copenhagen conference we showcased three topics about our ongoing commitment to quality.
- Measuring quality in long term care, providing a summary of the two year study into the impact of accreditation study, October 2007.
- Impact of accreditation in long term care, showing the performance of the Australian aged care industry over the last 10 years.
- Journey to accreditation, about our experience when we gained international accreditation of our assessor training and management.
